My Twitter-friend Chris Oldfield wrote an interesting blog piece called "Apologetics and Authorities 2: Presenting the Gospel." You can find it here: He asked me to respond. I was toying with just writing an uber-long comment on his blog, but since I'm such a horrible blog-lord and so rarely update content, I thought I'd respond here. Besides, who reads uber-long comments (tl;dr)?

First, let me say that there's much I agree with in Chris' position.

"Popologetics" is released. And the first review!

Hey All,

Popologetics was released on May 7th in the States (but for some reason, some sellers on amazon.com were already selling it as a "used-like new" book...on the day it was released). Anyway, it's available. My publisher told me it should be available as an e-book in a week or two.

Hey All,

As I was putting up the links section of this website, I ran across my book, Popologetics, available for pre-order at amazon and Christian Book Distributors. CBD said the release date was April 16th, 2012. That's so cool: my Mom and brother's birthdays! I guess P&R were going to get around telling me at some point...

I've spent a little time putting together a few links for this page. Most of the links are to my stuff you can find on the web. Just like Google, but I save you the time. Sorry I've been neglecting the site. The book is moving ahead apace. I've been told by P&R that it is scheduled for release at the end of April. But they've also let me give you guys a little taste of the book by giving me permission to post the cover and intro (and I don't think they'll be mad that I threw in the table of contents to boot).

Hey All,

Just wanted to let you know that I've added four new movies after a long hiatus (I'm a lazy blog-lord, I know). Hopefully, more to come. Much of the work on my book on popular culture is done. It will be published by P&R sometime in 2012 (May, I think). I'm thinking of posting a couple chapters on this site. Stay tuned.
